is a quarterly publication dedicated to poetry (haiku, free verse, prose, concrete poems, experiments, etc.) and fiction (flash and short stories). During open call periods we encourage unsolicited submissions from emerging and established writers. We do not consider any written work that has been previously published online or in print.

WHAT TO SEND: Linked Verse editors will review poetry and fiction submissions that do not exceed 5,000 words or 20 pages. We appreciate you formatting the work in a 12-point double-spaced serif style font (we love Garamond). Experimental text formatting will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

HOW TO SEND: We look forward to reading your work! You can reach us by emailing with submission materials attached. We do not accept submissions by mail. We do not offer payment for publication.

BY THE WAY:  We understand you could submit your material to various publications simultaneously. If your work is accepted for publication elsewhere before we’ve had a chance to confirm, please send us a note to withdraw your submission from our consideration.

RIGHTS: Rights always revert to the author upon publication.
